Heat Mats

Heating mats work by emitting infra red waves, these waves will heat whatever they come into contact with. It the mat is placed under substrate it will heat the substrate, if it is mounted on the side of a vivarium (inside) it will heat the objects within a few inches. Despite being low wattage they are capable of building up high ambient temperatures so should be used with a thermostat.
